Little Trout is a 528-acre lake near Soudan with a maximum depth of 37 feet and six campsites. Portages connect it to Trout (150 rods, hard), Gowan (233 rods), and Lac la Croix (292 rods, strenuous), with open water access to Trout and Gowan. The lake offers fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, tullibee, yellow perch, bluegill, rock bass, pumpkinseed, and white sucker.
