Boot Lake is a 197-acre lake with maximum depths of 83 feet, located near Prairie Portage. The lake features small, sheltered conditions and extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. Five campsites are available. Paddlers can access Boot by portaging 114 rods from Snowbank (hard carry) or 208 rods from Ensign (strenuous carry), with open-water connections to Haven and Gibson lakes.
