Wonder is a small, shallow 80-acre lake near Lutsen with extensive weedy bays ideal for northern pike, yellow perch, and white sucker fishing. The sheltered waters experience minimal wind exposure. Access is via a challenging 140-rod portage from Alton. The lake offers two campsites and connects by open water to Sunhigh.
