West Twin is an 80-acre lake near Burntside with a maximum depth of 22 feet and extensive shallow, weedy bays that support productive fishery. The small, sheltered lake offers calm paddling conditions and connects directly by open water to East Twin. Access is via a strenuous 209-rod portage from Burntside. The lake has three campsites. Spiny waterfleas are present.
