Access is via portages to Clearwater (211 rods, moderate) or Pine (268 rods, strenuous), with the easiest entry at 99 rods. The lake holds five campsites and offers fishing for lake trout, burbot, smallmouth bass, tullibee, and white sucker. Open water connections lead to Clearwater and Gogebic lakes.
