Trident Lake

Trident is a 93-acre lake near Ely with extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. The small, sheltered lake reaches 14 feet deep and holds bluegill, walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and other species. Access is via portages to Frog (75 rods, moderate) or Ensign (105 rods, hard), with open water connection to Ensign. The lake offers 2 campsites.
