Tin Can Mike Lake

Tin Can Mike is a 145-acre lake near Winton with a maximum depth of 29 feet and extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat for bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, rock bass, walleye, and yellow perch. The lake is small and sheltered from wind. Access is via the 80-rod moderate portage from Horse or the 137-rod hard portage from Sandpit, with open water connection to Horse. The lake offers 3 campsites.
