Sea Gull Lake

Sea Gull is a large, deep lake of 3,958 acres near Grand Marais in Cook County, offering 41 campsites and excellent fishing for walleye, lake trout, northern pike, and smallmouth bass. As an exposed, open lake, it can be windbound during strong winds. Access is via portages ranging from 20 rods (easy) to 155 rods (hard), connecting to Rog, Alpine, Gull, Grandpa, and open water to Meditation. The lake harbors an invasive spiny waterflea population.
