Sagus is a 160-acre lake near Prairie Portage with a maximum depth of 37 feet. The lake is small and sheltered with extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. It offers 3 campsites and connects by open water to Shepo and Roe. Access is via the easy 20-rod portage to Shepo or longer carries to Roe (32 rods) and Fraser (57 rods, moderate difficulty).
