Range Lake is an 81-acre, shallow lake near Winton with extensive weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat for northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, and yellow perch. The lake is small and sheltered with minimal wind exposure. Access is via a moderate 96-rod portage from Sandpit Lake. Range has one campsite and connects to Sandpit and Low lakes by open water.
