Peterson Lake

Peterson is a 94-acre lake near Tofte with a maximum depth of 15 feet, featuring extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. The lake is small and sheltered from wind. It offers one campsite and can be accessed via easy portages to Kelly (5 rods) or Baker (34 rods), with open water connections to Kelly, Baker, and Gossip. Northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, rock bass, yellow perch, and white sucker inhabit these productive waters.
