Little Gabbro Lake

Little Gabbro is a 148-acre lake near Silver Rapids with a maximum depth of 26 feet, characterized by extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. The small, sheltered lake offers four campsites and connects by open water to Clear, Gabbro, Nickel, and Astray lakes. Access requires a 122-rod hard portage or the more strenuous 238-rod carry to Bruin. The lake supports walleye, northern pike, black crappie, yellow perch, rock bass, tullibee, and white sucker.
