Kekekabic is a large, deep lake of 1689 acres with mostly open water and fairly exposed conditions that can turn windy and choppy. Access is straightforward via the shortest 11-rod portage from Kek (easy carry), with longer options to Pickle and Strup lakes. The lake holds 15 campsites and offers lake trout, smallmouth bass, rock bass, yellow perch, and white sucker fishing. Open-water paddling connects directly to Kekekabic Pond 1 and Kek.
