Homer Lake

Homer is a 434-acre lake near Lutsen with extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 22 feet and holds walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and yellow perch among other species. Access is straightforward via easy portages: 21 rods to Whack or 25 rods to Axe. Two campsites are available, with open water connections to Star and Axe lakes.
