Hassel is a small, sheltered 86-acre lake with maximum depth of 8 feet near Burntside Lake in St. Louis County. Extensive shallow, weedy bays provide productive habitat for hybrid sunfish and yellow perch. The lake has one campsite and connects by open water to Lunetta. Access involves portaging from Saca (92 rods, moderate), Battle (150 rods), or Lunetta (220 rods, strenuous).
