Ham Lake is a 119-acre lake near Grand Marais with a maximum depth of 40 feet. Small and sheltered from wind, it offers excellent fishing for northern pike, smallmouth bass, walleye, yellow perch, and white sucker. Access is via an easy 38-rod portage from Cross Bay. The lake provides four campsites for paddlers.
