Four Lake covers 611 acres with a maximum depth of 25 feet near Forest Center. The lake features extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and other species. Twelve campsites are available. Access is straightforward, with portages to Hudson (25 rods, easy) and Lac la Croix (28 rods, easy), and open water connections to Three, Horseshoe, Hudson, and Fire lakes.
