Fall Lake

Fall Lake is a 2,258-acre lake near Winton with a maximum depth of 32 feet. The fairly open water can get windy and choppy, requiring caution from paddlers. Access is via the 84-rod moderate portage to Newton or the challenging 173-rod carry to Mud. The lake holds eight campsites and offers excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and panfish species including bluegill and yellow perch.
