Crystal is a 206-acre lake near Maple Hill in Cook County with mostly deep, open water reaching 80 feet. The small, sheltered lake holds two campsites and offers fishing for lake trout, walleye, smallmouth bass, green sunfish, yellow perch, and white sucker. Access is via an easy 27-rod portage from Spaulding or a moderate 51-rod portage from Canoe, which connects by open water.
