Crab Lake

Crab Lake is a 78-acre lake near Grand Marais with shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat for walleye, northern pike, bluegill, and other species. The lake is small and sheltered with minimal wind exposure. Access is via an easy 19-rod portage from Loon Lake, and paddlers can reach Whisker Lake by open water. The lake offers 9 campsites.
