Chad Lake is a 265-acre lake with a maximum depth of 18 feet, located near Burntside Lake in St. Louis County. The water features extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat for bluegill, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, rock bass, and white sucker. Wind exposure is minimal, making it a small and sheltered paddling destination with two campsites. Access requires strenuous portages: 211 rods to Buck or 253 rods to East Vermilion.
