Big Moose Lake

Big Moose is a 1,025-acre lake near Ely with a maximum depth of 23 feet and extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat for northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, and rock bass. The lake is fairly open and can get windy and choppy. Access is via strenuous portages: 471 rods to Duck or 623 rods to Cummings. The lake offers 5 campsites.
