Ashigan is a 153-acre lake with mostly deep, open water reaching 59 feet deep, located near Prairie Portage. Small and sheltered from wind, it offers calm paddling conditions. Access is via a 54-rod moderate portage to Ensign Lake or a 112-rod hard carry to Gibson Lake. The lake has no campsites.
