Vista Lake

Vista is a 166-acre lake near Grand Marais with a maximum depth of 47 feet. Small and sheltered from wind, it features extensive shallow, weedy bays ideal for walleye, northern pike, burbot, and yellow perch. The lake has three campsites and connects by open water to Horseshoe, Misquah, Snack, and Jackal lakes. Portages range from 35 rods (easy) to Jackal to 56 rods (moderate) to Misquah.
