Thomas is a 1,465-acre lake near Prairie Portage with a maximum depth of 110 feet. The fairly open water can get windy and choppy, so paddlers should be prepared for variable conditions. Access is via portages to Harmony (10 rods, easy), Kiana (32 rods), Cap (63 rods), or Cacabic (205 rods, strenuous). The lake holds 17 campsites and connects by open water to Harmony and Fraser.
