Snipe is a 115-acre lake near Lutsen with extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. The small, sheltered lake offers four campsites and gentle paddling conditions. Access is via a moderate 43-rod portage from Little Saganaga, with connections to Jester, Copper, and Cross Bay by open water. Longer portages reach Copper (76 rods) and Missing Link (110 rods).
