Skipper is a small 107-acre lake near Maple Hill in Cook County with sheltered conditions and a maximum depth of 30 feet. The lake has one campsite and connects by open water to Little Rush. Access is via a 12-rod easy portage from Little Rush, or a strenuous 267-rod portage to Poplar. Fishing opportunities exist for lake species typical to the area.
