Saganaga (01,03,04) (Canada) Lake

Saganaga is a massive, deep lake near Grand Marais offering 64 campsites and excellent fishing for walleye, lake trout, northern pike, and smallmouth bass. As a large, open body of water, it's exposed to wind and can become windbound during storms. Access is straightforward via short portages—the easiest is 8 rods—with connections to Red Rock, Tenor, and several other lakes. The lake connects northward to Granite River in Canada.
