Phoebe is a 610-acre lake near Forest Center in Cook County with extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. Maximum depth reaches 25 feet. The lake offers eight campsites and connects by open water to Knight, Poet, and Bag lakes. Access is via an 86-rod moderate portage. Northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, and yellow perch are among the species present.
