Perent Lake

Perent is a 1,598-acre lake in Lake County near Forest Center with a maximum depth of 38 feet. The extensive shallow, weedy bays provide productive fish habitat for walleye, northern pike, lake whitefish, and yellow perch. Wind exposure can create choppy conditions on this fairly open lake. The lake has 21 campsites and connects by open water to Coffee and Chickadee lakes, with portage access to Island River and Ferne.
