North Fowl is a 388-acre lake near Hovland with extensive shallow, weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat for northern pike, smallmouth bass, walleye, and yellow perch. Maximum depth is 10 feet. The lake has one campsite and can be accessed via a hard 126-rod portage from Moose. North Fowl connects by open water to Moose, South Fowl, and Royal. Spiny waterflea is present.
