Muskeg is a small, shallow 194-acre lake near Silver Rapids with extensive weedy bays that provide productive fish habitat. The lake is well-sheltered from wind and offers one campsite. Access is via an easy 40-rod portage from Ella Hall, with open water connections to Basswood and Mud lakes.
