Mesaba is a small, sheltered 213-acre lake near Tofte with a maximum depth of 65 feet. The lake offers three campsites and is accessed via portages to Chaser (21 rods, easy), Hug (75 rods), and Hub (90 rods, moderate). Anglers can pursue green sunfish, lake trout, northern pike, and white sucker. The lake connects by open water to Hug, Chaser, Hub, and Leak.
