Maxine is a 39-acre lake near Ely with mostly deep, open water reaching 21 feet. The small, sheltered lake offers excellent fishing for northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, and yellow perch. Accessible by open water from Jig and Ole with no portages required, Maxine has one campsite available for paddlers.
