Kawishiwi River is a small, sheltered waterway with 191 acres and 2 campsites. The easiest access is a 23-rod portage (easy carry), while connections to nearby lakes require portages of 46 rods to Malberg and 50 rods to John Ek (moderate difficulty). The river connects directly by open water to Malberg Lake.
