Greenwood is a large, deep lake of 2043 acres in Cook County near Grand Marais with fairly open water that can get windy and choppy. It connects by open water to North Shady, Sunfish, and Potato lakes with no portaging required. The lake holds one campsite and offers excellent fishing for lake trout, northern pike, smallmouth bass, brook trout, and several whitefish species including cisco and tullibee.
