East Twin is a small, sheltered 123-acre lake near Ely with a maximum depth of 22 feet and four campsites. Access is via an easy 18-rod portage from Everett. The lake connects by open water to Burntside, West Twin, and Everett. It holds walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegill, yellow perch, and white sucker.
