East Bearskin is a 593-acre lake near Grand Marais with a maximum depth of 66 feet and four campsites. Access is via four portages ranging from 52 rods (moderate) to 103 rods (hard), connecting to Alder, Nancy, Aspen, and Crocodile by open water. The lake holds excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, lake trout, and panfish species.
