Clam Lake

Clam is a 56-acre, sheltered lake in Cook County near Lutsen with a maximum depth of 19 feet. Its extensive shallow, weedy bays create productive fish habitat. The lake has one campsite and requires no portages to access, making it readily reachable for paddlers. Wind exposure is minimal due to the lake's small, protected character.
