Ahsub is a small, sheltered 60-acre lake near Ely with a maximum depth of 78 feet. The lake has three campsites and offers fishing for northern pike, smallmouth bass, bluegill, hybrid sunfish, yellow perch, and white sucker. Access is via an easy 26-rod portage from Disappointment Lake. Wind exposure is minimal due to the lake's protected character.
